Facebook is down for the past few hours and nobody knows when it will be back on. Also Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger. The world is standing still. You have your business marketing set up on Facebook, or your blog is connected with Facebook then this is a devastating situation. Lots of businesses depending on social media marketing. Also, ads running on or over Facebook. As for me, l have all my pages connected with social media. I share my articles on Facebook and on my business pages in order to attract viewers.
Messenger is a very important app to connect with your clients or partners. If they can’t get in touch with you, it means you are losing out on money. Of course, they can e-mail you, but if you running your business and ads on social media then this is your darkest hour. With Messenger, we also communicate with friends and family. Surely there are other messenger services but not everybody is using them. The popular ones are Facebook or WhatsApp messenger. They are more common and convenient while you are on the road. You can chat, video-call, or send a voice mail while you on the train, plane, at home, or in the hospital.

It is very easy to connect if you have a WordPress Site. All you need is a Google account and a few plug-ins and you can track the visitor’s traffic. Use Google ads on your business site, or work with affiliates. It is always a good idea to promote your business partners in a post. Visitors will come back for more.

Whenever l scroll through Facebook, l see so many online stores advertising their products. It is very convenient for both sides. One-click takes you right to the store site or products. These ads are paid for by the owners. Social Media Marketing is very powerful and profitable. As long everything runs smoothly on both sides.
Could it be that the reason behind the fallout is the forthcoming of a Facebook employee? It is kind of strange, that as soon they talked about it on the media, Facebook went down. What Zuckerberg has to hide? I guess we already know. The platform is putting profit before the public good. Facebook has lied to the public about the progress it made to clamp down on hate speech and misinformation on its platform.

Don’t depend on only social media marketing, find some other solutions and strategies. So next time a platform is down, it will not affect your business.
